Donovan's lectern

In case you have a valuable medieval manuscript and want to display it with some elegance then you need this book rest, worth of a wealthy collector of antiquities like Walter Donovan. You can now resemble the industrialist and commissioning the piece from this humble artisan.

Very solid as a whole, the upper section has an inclination slightly under 45º to properly facing the book displayed just like in the movie. The decó-style part that serves as support legs is much in the fashion of the 1920's lush furniture, covered with +150 plates finished to resemble like bone or maybe ivory. As a background detail, there's a brass plate inlaid in the reading top with a big D engraved, indicating that Walter commissioned a custom made lectern for his prized book.
